What’s new at the Family Wellness Practice?

Pay-what-you-wish classes now open for registration.

The therapeutic world continues to evolve. The Family Wellness Practice is proud to be on the front lines of disseminating the important and quickly-evolving field of study as it relates to the Child and Family.

In an effort to bring accessible and easy-to-understand knowledge directly to the family front, we offer a Pay-What-You-Wish scale for many of the resources offered in the Practice. Join any of the myriad classes throughout the year, and learn about the concepts that are most relevant to your place in time.

The classes are designed for parents, educators, and students of psychology, philosophy, sociology, and mental health. Some of the classes are also designed for adults and children to study together.

Peruse and choose that which most suits you at this time.

FOUNDER

Bruchy Brooke Moskovics

Clinical Social Worker

Child Life Specialist

“I didn’t always know that my work would lead me to studying child and family psychology. Over my years in practice, this continued to be the next right step, unlocking new avenues of personal and professional evolution. Approaching 10 years in clinical practice, it is clear that I’ve developed a deep passion for working not only with the child, but with the entire family system as a whole.

The clients I have worked with over the years have been instrumental in helping me create a model that works consistently with a breadth of family dynamics and symptom groupings. The clients’ willingness to step outside old ways of thinking and the parents’ readiness to be the on-site helpers for their children were the two reliable components that have made this model work as well as it does. We focus on wellness and development instead of pathology. The confidence and positivity spreads quickly from the parents to the children, and even out to extended family and community.

In founding the Family Wellness Practice, it is my continued intention to bring cutting edge research and education to parents and educators worldwide. I learn from my clients, and my students, every day. Thank you for being here, and for being a part of the evolution of this important field of study.”

Theta Healing Sessions are back!

Theta Healing is an energy healing modality that uses a meditative state as the main mechanism of practice. Clients are given clear guidance for how to access the meditative Theta brainwave, and work together with the practitioner to outline and achieve their wellness goals.

This modality is a good fit for clients who desire a psycho-spiritual component to their wellness work. This can be standalone, or a supplemental practice in addition to other evidence-based therapies.

One of my favorite ways of sharing what I know is through writing. Each issue has a specific focus in the areas of Brain Development, Family Systems, and general Wellness.
